PHIPA Privacy Training for New Staff

This training program provides new staff at B.D. Diagnostic Imaging Inc. with essential knowledge of Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). It covers the legal requirements for collecting, using, and disclosing patient health information specifically within the context of diagnostic imaging. Participants will learn how to maintain professional standards, manage patient consent, and implement physical and digital safeguards to protect sensitive data. The course concludes with a final assessment to ensure all team members understand their role in preventing privacy breaches and maintaining patient trust in our Scarborough facilities.
